What the tool measures

Reading the result
Read the segments in source order and check where spaces or punctuation were placed.
If the result surprises you, test a short sample with one boundary at a time and compare modes.
Common mistakes
Using sentence mode for a list without sentence punctuation.
Entering a delimiter that looks similar but is not identical.
Assuming splitting trims spaces, repairs punctuation, removes duplicates, or preserves every empty field.
Limits
The tool does not rewrite, translate, sort, deduplicate, or verify facts.
